April Celebrity travel round-up: Where your favorite stars are traveling, seeing and loving!
Your favorite celebrities are on the move and here is where they are bestowing the honor of their presence.
Halle Berry in Maui

Actress Halle Berry recently vacationed with her fiance Olivier Martinez and her daughter Nahla in Maui, Hawaii, spending Easter on the island.
Maui is the 2nd largest of the Hawaiian Islands and is home to Ka’anapali Beach which is one of Hawaii’s most beautiful, energetic, and active beaches.
Maui is served by Kahului Airport (IATA code – OGG). A round trip flight to Maui in August (summer season with temperatures ranging from 85–90 °F) will run you about $780 from New York City, $624 from Los Angeles, and $900 from Chicago. If you go in December (when temperatures drop slightly to 79–83 °F), flight costs will decrease to about $680 from New York City, $550 from Los Angeles, and $880 from Chicago.
Jada Pinkett Smith in Kaua’i

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith looked positively radiant strolling along the streets and beaches of beautiful Kaua’i where she vacationed with her daughter Willow.
Fun fact: I was actually in Kaua’i at the same time as they were and ran into them at the airport. We were on the same flight back to LAX. I approached Jada and commented on how tiny she was in person (Willow is taller than her) and how gorgeous she is. She was very pleasant :).
Kaua’i is the northwestern most of Hawaii’s major islands. Nicknamed the Garden Island due to its lush greenery and tropical plants, it is the oldest of the Hawaiian islands. Kauai also has more miles of sandy coastline than the other Hawaiian islands.
Kaua’i is served by Lihue Airport (IATA code – LIH). A round trip flight to Kaua’i in July (summer season with temperatures ranging from 85–90 °F) will run you about $880 from New York City, $624 from Los Angeles, and $900 from Chicago. If you go in January (when temperatures drop slightly to 79–83 °F), flight costs will decrease to about $670 from New York City, $650 from Los Angeles, and $875 from Chicago.
Alicia Keys in The Bahamas

Songbird Alicia Keys recently soaked in the sun with her cutie-pie son Egypt in The Bahamas.
The Bahamas or The Bahama Islands, is an archipelago consisting of many about 700 islands including the cays. Contrary to popular belief, The Bahama Islands are located in the Atlantic Ocean, not the Caribbean Sea.
Most visitors to The Bahamas will come in through Nassau, the capital city. Nassau is served by Lynden Pindling International Airport (IATA code – NAS). A round trip flight to Nassau in August (summer season with temperatures averaging 82°F) will run you about $370 from New York City, $450 from Los Angeles, and $350 from Chicago. If you go in January/February (when temperatures drop slightly to 70°F), flight costs will slightly increase to about $390 from New York City, $460 from Los Angeles, and $375 from Chicago.
The Kardashians in Mykonos

Reality TV moguls The Kardashians and Kim’s huge baby bump are in Mykonos, Greece.
While Ray-J obsessively and immaturely tries to hang on to some credence off the coattails of his ex from 10 years ago, she’s ignoring the pettiness by taking in a lovely vacation with her family in the beautiful Greek islands of Mykonos while also filming her reality show. Kim is always making money!
Mykonos is a Greek island, which is part of the Cyclades. Tourism is a major industry in Mykonos. In fact, Mykonos is famed as a cosmopolitan destination amongst the Greek islands and widely recognized as one of the great travel meccas rivaled only by Santorini.
You can get to Mykonos either by plane or by ferry. If you choose to fly in, you will land at Mykonos Island National Airport (IATA code – JMK) via Athens. The best time to visit Mykonos is mid-May through June (when accommodation is much cheaper and it’s not that hot), or September through mid-October. Round trip tickets in September from New York city are approx. $850 to Athens, then round-trip from Athens to Mykonos for $128 on Aegean Airlines.
I personally love seeing celebrities on vacation and in their natural element. After all, celebrities are normal people as well and desire the same things we all do.
Want to vacation like the stars? Or spot a star while on vacation? Celebrities love Hawaii because of it’s proximity to Los Angeles and also a feeling of being away from it all. They also can’t get enough of Caribbean destinations such as The Bahamas, Barbados and St. Barts. Of course, if you do spot a star on vacation, be respectful and understand this is their quiet time away from work.
