Hi, I’m Lola. Pleasure to make your (virtual) acquaintance : ).

I have a natural curiosity and a love for adventure, cultures, languages, arts and photography that spurs me to want to be a real life “Lola the explorer“. Travel to me is like an adrenaline rush that I can’t quite get enough of, or explain in words. There’s no feeling quite like the feeling of “get up and go“. An exotic island here, ancient ruins there, modern architecture next – there’s no better feeling than being there, in person, soaking it all in. Be it solo, with friends/family or a significant other… like Nike, I just do it!

I have been to a number of places, but I consider myself only just getting started. When I was a kid, one of my favorite books was an Atlas my parents bought for my brother and I. In fact, I read that Atlas almost every day. I.was.obsessed and in awe that there were sooooo many countries, some big, some small, some with names I could not pronounce then, and I was so curious. I thank my parents for instilling this curiosity in me, because since I became old enough to make the decision, I decided that one day, I’ll be able to say I have visited every country in the world that I could enter legally and safely. I’m currently chipping away, one country at a time…

My love for travel and my self-expression through photography go hand in hand. I do not go anywhere without my camera kit. I professionally photograph and always look forward to sharing how I see people, places and things. I see beauty in what some would typically dub as mundane and I have never seen a cityscape or a landscape that I haven’t fallen in love with. I am also into portraiture and capturing the beautiful smiling faces of people from all over the world.

I look forward to sharing my travel stories and photography with you.
